Our Pollinator Mural

Pueblo Vista Magnet Elementary Napa, CA | 2022

Supported by: Arts Council Napa Valley Community Fund Grant

Additional Support: PVES Family Club

I created this collaborative 150-square-foot mural with over 100 students at Pueblo Vista Magnet Elementary, a bilingual school that centers pollinators in its curriculum. The project included a school-wide assembly featuring local scientists, followed by student-led design and production of eight hexagonal panels installed in a honeycomb pattern. Painted in both Spanish and English, the mural celebrates native pollinators and plants while reinforcing environmental stewardship and community pride. It now brightens a central courtyard used daily by over 500 students and staff, and continues to serve as a learning tool for the school.
