Series of Murals and Paintings Napa, CA 2025
Staffed by: Abode Services
Funded by: The Peter A. and Vernice H. Gasser Foundation

These two sister housing developments were designed side by side, and I created a unified art concept to serve both communities. The theme of “home” guided the work at both sites, reflecting the idea that home is not only a physical place, but also a feeling of connection, identity, and belonging.

At Heritage House, which offers permanent supportive housing for formerly unhoused individuals, I created Napa Native Flora—a building-wide series of murals and paintings featuring over 65 native plant species to evoke calm and grounding. Next door at Valle Verde, an affordable family housing site, I created Napa Native Fauna—a playful outdoor mural series celebrating local wildlife, with each floor themed around a different habitat. Each unit received a framed print of a unique native animal species to display by their front door.

Together, these projects bring beauty, nature, and meaning into daily life, welcoming residents into a shared environment where they can feel at home.
