Commissioned by One Hope Winery

For a fundraising event at One Hope Winery’s tasting room in Rutherford, I created a series of five original wine labels—four painted ahead of time from photographs and one painted live on-site during the celebration. Drawing inspiration from the winery’s existing label design, which features a gold-foil sun, I incorporated gold leaf into my paintings to echo that detail while creating a softer, more painterly interpretation of the landscape. The live plein air piece captured the tasting room and surrounding hills in the golden light of sunset, evolving as guests mingled and bid in the auction. Each original was affixed to a wine bottle and sold, blending art, brand storytelling, and philanthropy into a single, celebratory keepsake.
