My illustration work blends fine art technique with storytelling — capturing the spirit of a place, the personality of an animal, or the meaning behind a moment. Whether painting plein air on a vineyard hillside, creating a book cover from a client’s cherished photographs, or rendering a portrait of a “goat hero” who helped save a home from wildfire, I approach each piece as a visual narrative. My projects span private commissions, editorial concepts, and decorative illustration for books, packaging, and public events — always with an emphasis on authenticity, connection, and a sense of place.
