On a drizzly afternoon in Paris, I traded my riverside painting spot for the warmth of a café table piled high with pastries. Painting directly from life, I captured the glossy strawberries, golden apple tart, and the soft gray reflections of the Seine outside. Part of my ongoing plein air and travel sketch series, this piece is a reminder that inspiration often comes when you follow the weather indoors.
