FS41 Art Bench Mosaic

I collaborated with ceramic artist Sam Tubiolo to create a colorful mosaic bench honoring West Sacramento’s firefighting history. The design features Old Mary, a beloved historic firetruck, along a “West Sac Goat” spraying a stream of blue ceramic water across the back. Community members helped create handmade tiles during a public workshop that are now installed on the ground surrounding the bench. The project is now complete and will be celebrated at a public unveiling on September 13, 2025.
